IBC Japan

I am bringing this issue back into the agenda hoping that I might get some suggestions. Sorry for boring you again.
I imported a car from IBC Japan and it arrived with a big electrical fault that was identified only after the car was plug into a computer in a main dealer garage- specialist intervention was necessary.
The car was eventually fixed but the cost for repair was huge.
As I ordered the car from IBC Japan they have also organised the shipping and maritime insurance for the car( I would call that a subcontract) with companies that they call "partners carefully chosen" .
When I tried to hold them responsible their reply was that it is nothing to do with them and the car left Japan in perfect condition- with a vague certificate to prove it - and they blaime the shipping comp.
At the other end the shipping comp said that they followed the correct procedures(... as they would say) and they do not assume responsibility.
To make it short nobody is assuming responsibility and my solicitor told me that to sue the shipping company( with reps in Ireland) can be a long and expensive process but not impossible and for to sue the IBC Japan we need to employ a japanese solicitor- not practical and possible v expensive.
I personally blaim IBC Japan because they haven't fulfilled their contract to deliver a grade 4 car to Dublin port as per agreement despite being paid in full for the process.
If anybody had a similar experience and got any satisfaction please let me know how did you do it and if you were ignored( like I was) please make it known so at least they will be named and shamed and hopefully they will loose some bussiness in Ireland.
