Upgrade Options

Hi Folks, a mate of mine is looking to upgrade his PC with new cpu/mobo/ram & graphics card on a budget of €400 or thereabouts. What sort of spec parts should he be looking for do you think? it'll be used for some gaming & photoshop, nothing too strenuous! Any help greatly appreciated!

Agree, if you have to keep to €400 budget then maybe drop to E2160,Ds3l mobo

I know mate, but its either the cpu or the graphics...

He obviously likes to use photoshop and i'm sure and extra 50 quid won't kill the man. And for that 50 the rig is alot better. minus 50 it's alot worse.

Can I piggyback this rather than start another thread for something very similar? I have a mate who asked me about an upgrade at the weekend. His current machine is one of the Komplett gamer machines (7800GTS, P4, etc.) I spec'd a few years ago but I've fallen out of touch with hardware so I need advice. He was playing Witcher over the weekend and it was struggling a bit at the higher settings and he reckons that some other games won't play all that well. His budget is €600.
