Demolition hammer for €170 at aldi tomorrow, sounds too good to be true. What is the general quality of powertools there like?

they are generally fine for diy use... I have loads of them on everyday use with no problems... 3 year warrenty as well.... although anythign that has gone wrong I just got refunded for as they had no replacements in stock

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm very tempted, I was going to buy a hammer for €650 as I am fed up with tool hire charges. I'm strictly a DIY guy but I would have a lot of heavy work for one of these.

Bought one of the 4-in-1 kits a few months ago, drill fried the second I turned it on. Brought it back, passed on the replacement. :)

Bought a cordless drill last year and the batteries were very bad quality.

Would never buy any corless tools from Aldi again.

However the corded tools seem to be much better...
