Not all programmes have the series link option available

Is there a trick to getting your series links to stay? Sometimes I can record one program on a series link, but it disappears before the next week's program comes around. Does it matter if you delete the program without watching it?

Series link can be very tempremental on some channels, just have to check to see if it has inserted the next episode in your planner.

Cheers, just making sure it wasn't me doing something silly! Problems seem to be on TV3 more than other channels ...
