Eager to go abroad until summer time! suggestions?!

    Hey all,

    I am looking to do some sort of travelling for teh next few months until around summer time this year before i begin college in september!:)

    I would like to work or volunteer and am wondering is there any good websites or companies that show oppurtunities like this ?! Or do you know of any there is ?! :confused:

    If I were you I'd go to India. Very cheap and very cool.
    You can volunteer in loads of places. I know my hostel had signs up all the time looking for poeple for various projects. And you could work wiith Mother Teresa's organisation. They are amazing!

    hi there,
    im in the same boat as ursel there!
    im working away at the mo, but im gettting terribly bored!
    wouldnt mind venturing off until august.
    go to the society section,and scroll down to volunteerism,
    i had a quick read through some of the posts,some interesting info,and links etc.

    india ?! i really never considered india - when ya said my hostel, have you done it ?! what did you think /!?!



    and yeah thanks ill have a look at volunteering section cheers, same as you - i would just love to get away! :D:P:L

    also I am thiking of working on a summer camp or something like that - it would be cool , you wouldnt want to go abroad to a stressful job like!:)

    i have a friend who was looking up "camp america" (think thats the name if it)working with the young 'uns of the USA, sa far as i know they have a place up in belfast that recruits etc.
    or u cud usit.ie it up,they have a volunteer section,iv also been lookin through their south africa tours,looks great!
