    Hey everyone,

I would like to buy a range of filters (uv, polarised, coloured etc). Can anyone suggest a good place to get them online or otherwise and how much can I expect to spend?

    Any advice?

    Cheers

eBay! I just got a circ polariser from kea-photo. Everyone here could recommend them, or UR Galaxy and a handful of others...

I picked up some ND Grads in Gunnes the other day and tbh there wasnt much difference between the price there and eBay. About €4 dearer in Gunnes but for the sake of €4 I'd rather keep it local. Id certainly check out the prices in Gunnes before I go to eBay anyway!

As said, Gunn's on Wexford Street are very good on filter prices. I usually pick up my grads from them. If you are going the eBay route I can highly recommend Surrey Photographic.

I bought a set last week. I contacted Surrey Photographic, and found them very poor. I wanted to buy a number of items (6) and they replied saying they didn't have one of the items. I then contacted them again, asking for a price for the other items, plus shipping, only to be told to order them all on ebay and they would then adjust the shipping cost. So, I'd no real way of knowing the total price.

In the end, I bought most of the stuff in Gunns and found them brilliant, as always.

I've had good experience with Surrey (I bought E2 solution and pec pads).

But yeah - Gunnes or Ebay.

Yeah, Cokin. Got a 77mm attachment, holder, Grad ND2, Grad ND8, and circ polariser. I think that's all I got.

How much were the filters going for? As much as I "like" Conn's, Gunne's is my neighbourhood shop...

I got my Hoya R72 from Surrey Photographic on ebay last night. As I'm not from or planning to be in Dublin anytime in the next month

In Gunns, the ND grad filters were €21.
