K800i software/firmware question

    Lads is there a way to update the firmware on a K800i. The fone is still under guarantee but was hoping a firmware update(if possible) might fix it and save me sending the fone back. I am on a vodafone tariff and the two issues I have are

    1) When I dial 171 it will attempt to ring it and then cut off, say 3 times out of every 10

    2)Signal/reception can be a bit doggy indoors

    Was in the vodafone shop today and the only thing they could do was try a replacement sim but did not work.

    yes i believe you can do it yourself if you get the right software. or you can leave it in for repair with the vodafone shop but that takes a few weeks.

    or you can bring it to mprc in sandyford and they'll do it in three hours. call them first to make sure they'll do it.

    and remember that everything on the phone will be erased
