Hey Im a college student in UL and Im trying to figure out how to get access to Online Poker. The UL proxy server blocks me from playing. I've tried playing in the browser but still wont work. Does any know how I could bypass the proxy server completely?

Could you copy the installation .exe file onto a decent size memory stick at home or in an internet cafe and open it through the USB on a computer in the college? I assume all students are allowed to move files around with memory sticks?
I would delete the link straight away though every time you finish using it.

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago stating that someone could open it and use the auto login feature to play with your cash so be wary of that. You also don't want technicians to find poker software installed on your login in the college.

We have a firewall here at work which blocks out most sites. I'm just lucky I had poker software installed on the pc before they put the firewalls in and now I have the link hidden on my desktop and can log in and play every now and again.

No that won't work in UL. As a former college network admin I know that there's really no way around it short of bypassing the UL network firewall all together.

Ya thats fair enough, I wasn't too sure what security arrangements they have in UL.
Joey, it looks like you need to get your hands on a cheap laptop and maybe invest in mobile broadband which is only about €20 a month.
