looking to change my rifle any reccomendations?

    i use a sabbatti 6.5x55 for deer and am changing it after the season closes, im looking for a good dependable synthetic rifle thats factory threaded, i also want to stay with the calibre im at....

    I'd be looking at a steyr prohunter MKII in 6.5. They are synthetic, available in 6.5 swedish and factory threaded. As a plus they have a set trigger as standard. Also I think the Tikka T3 Super Varmint is available with a stainless heavy barrel, factory threading (I think) and synthetic, I don't know about set triggers

    you can get a set trigger for a tikka t3 i have one in my 243.not gone on the safe bolt safety on the steyr ,or the sloppy fore end i had one and could not wait to get rid of it .sako 75 tikka t3 are my top two failing that the sako 85 but its not half the rifle of the 75 love to what sako were thinking of

    :DJWShooter, you are dead right about the new Sako 85. A mate of mine has a steyr prohunter mkII in 25-06 and he swears by it. Have to admit I kinda like it too
