Is this pattern for advanced knitters?

    but I don't exactly understand the terms used such as "Divide sts between needles and join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist." - what does working in the round mean? Is this pattern achievable for a beginner knitter? Can anyone translate the instructions into simple steps for me?

    there was a long thread on knitting a while ago..if you do a search you may be able to find some fellow knitters. unfortunetly this forum is quite quiet so you may want to pm the knitters.

    This is obviously an American pattern but quite an attractive one. I am no expert at knitting but I can explain it to you. Your set of needles contain 4 double pointed needles. Your 66 stitches are divided onto 3 of these ie 22 on each and the 4th needle is used for knitting, thus you work "in the round", ie making a tube, like a sock if you think about it. Yes, a beginner can work this. Hope this helps and good luck.:)
