Are there any shift workers living in Wexford County travelling to Dublin? How do you find the commute? I may have to do it soon and I would like to hear how people cope with the journey/traffic and the hours? What hours are your shifts?

I work 7 days/fortnight and its ok, 61 mile journey wexford town to north wicklow, leave at 6:45 and arrive at 7:55 or so, leave work at 9pm and home at 10:10 or so, rarely any traffic on roads.
I do nights aswell and its no hassle driving up at 8pm and home again at 8am. I also usually stay overnight if i do 2 8am-9pm shifts in a row.

I wouldnt do it 8-5 mon-fri, would be impossible.

I head up to Stillorgan about twice a week. I leave at 8.30am and usually arrive about 9.50. Going home in the evening I leave about 5 - 5.30 and am always home by 7
