Sand. The pitch is a bit cut up.

France starting to gain momentum now.

Hope the try (which shouldn't have been a try) doesn't set them back

So far, much better game than the other 2 put together yesterday

    Good game.

Deserved win from France. Basically a new side completely and they are so confident. Unlike Ireland, they made all the changes and it worked. France looked at this from a long term gain. They want the next world cup. They may get this years 6 nations too :(

    Fair play to them

Is it just me or has the refereeing in all games left a lot to be desired. Yesterday, the ref could have a yellow carded at least two Italians before Easterby was binned and as many afterwards. I thought Scotland were hard done by on a couple of occasions with French tacklers not rolling away and with hands all over the ball. The pass out wide for the 3rd try was 5 yards forward. What the hell are touch judges doin.

Having said that, France were brilliant. And to think jauzion wasn't playin! Why can Ireland just throw it around. EOS has instilled such stagnancy and staleness into the team it's unbelieveable. France will hammer us unless we go out with a different game plan e.g. running rugby. Murphy at fullback, Bowe and Fitzgerald (he who twice danced around Clerc and Heymans at the RDS). Trimble at 12.

Well there has been two uselss SH ref's who we all know cant ref for their lifes and id never liked Rollaind i think he's very blind when it comes to some obvious stuff

The referees have been poor, in the Ireland game there was inconsistency in the use of yellow cards, missed forward passes and again today very dodgy.

Christ, Scotland were brutal...France seemed pretty good, lots of spark and adventure, and the only thing that stopped 'em racking up a higher score was ring-rustiness. Really impressed with some of the new boys especially the fly-half...and seemed to really enjoy themselves, confidence high...

Can't understand Hadden's perseverance with Parks at ten. He can't cut it at international level, (though he does have a lovely sympathetic boot).

Expect France to up it a gear in Paris next week, which means we're in for a real hiding.

Comparisons are odious as the old saying goes, but for me, and I was privileged to see him play in the flesh for France ,Blanco was a genuine rugby genius, the oval ball equivalent of a Pele or Maradonna. Clerc is a superb player, but he's got a ways to go before he touches Blanco's coat-tails..and then there's the whole level playing field thing..amateur v professional etc...

If Scotland had a time machine and could just repeat the first ten minutes eight times then they could have won. After that first ten minutes it was alll downhill and I may be wrong here but is Frank Haddenn in danger of getting the chop if they do badly? France played brilliantly which is a bad thing from an Irish perspective.

Scotland were poor and we are marginally better.
If EOS clears out the players he should - IMO Best,Easterby, O'Kelly and Murphy(jury is out on him) then we might have a chance for 60 minutes but that also assumes that we remember how to play rugby. Unfortunately I would expect us to get mauled once again, based on what France have managed to do with a "new" team. :(
