Oil type for petrol

Hi I bought oil for my 1.6 petrol (Skoda) just to top it up. It's 5W-30 Fully Synthetic Shell Helix. Is it suitable for my car as I thought fully synthetic was only for diesels and 15W-30 was for petrols.?? It says on the back of the oil that it's suitable for petrol and diesel. Does anybody have any thoughts on this,…

Check your manual. I'd say it's ok. Would have thought that 10W 40 might have been more suitable.

Looks like EDGE 5W-30.
