Check out the TAPS website for two new TAPS Family, both based in Ireland - http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/tapsfamily/tflist.html ... you'll need to scroll right down the page and look under Ireland.

Anyone interested in the Nightwatchers idea? As in http://www.nightwatchers.info/ - A paranormal group for everyone. its basically to get a way for us all to work together and have a vibrant network going

If i can get an idea of how many groups want to be involved then we can start moving. So far I know P.I.G.S. are interested as are ourselves, Leinsterparanormal. anyone else?

cool - I'd just like to get a selection of groups (as in many groups in ireland as pssobile) to be able to get together, organise joint investigations, get to know each other, help each other out analysing and pass on investigations that might be too far away to get to etc etc. It'd be cool. Teh NightWatchers group have promised us an Ireland forum so basically we could organise amongst ourselves and then, on the same message board, check out other groups throughout the world.

Oh come on dont go off in a strop.:) Youll alienate the lurkers.

Im not part of a group, and I think youve already got the two main groups who post here. Maybe a definition of TAPS for those of us who dont know what it is and are too lazy to follow your link? Might generate some interest among those of us who dont belong to a group and just come here to discuss orbs. ;)

oh thats not being stroppy - I can huff much more effectively than that. not worried about the taps thing, its trying to get effective paranormal community communication going thats the issue.

It saddens me that on the biggest irish paranormal forum there just doesnt seem to be any interest in getting groups together and working with each other, ergo not much point in harrasing people round here with the idea, except for the PIG lads.

I know that some of the guys from Soulsearchers read but dont post, I'll contact them to see if they are interested, they are a scientific group FYI

Iamhunted I don't think most of the people on the forum here see themselves as part of an official group, at least in their capacity as posters here. While people here sometimes do meet up and do investigations, it's very much on an informal basis and not as the "Boards.ie Paranormal Forum group". Altough many of the groups around do check here every now and then, so it might take a while but I'm sure the interest will grow.

I do think this is a very good idea though for groups to get involved in, meant to post this in the other thread where you first put forward the idea. One of the big problems with trying to organise some kind of overall grouping or association would be that each of the groups would have their own ideas about what direction it should go etc and could lead to infighting and splitting. Joining onto a much larger established organisation is a great way to avoid this, or some of it at least ;)

I see a new company of plumbers here called TAPS now, saw them on Sunday and again advertised on the back of a bus.

    Something like Total Assistance Plumbing
