A quick question if i may.

I unfortunately broke the speed last august 22nd, upon that i brought my insurance into the garda station the same day to prove i had insurance.

Since then I have not received a fine and points notice,
yesterday my neighbour advised me that two gardai tried to deliver a summons to him. in short the summons was for me, but the address was incorrect,
thus i believe the reason why i never got the fine and why the gardai didnt ring my bell.

Now for the question, if or when the gardai do eventually turn up at my door to present the summons to me, can i refuse it due to incorrect information?

No - these fine line technicalities generally do not work. Im afraid you'll have to bask in your summons.

Nope, at the hearing the guards will give evidence of the effective service of the summons and that will be that.
