    my sister's cat has a long strip of fur missing along her back. its like somebody waxed a strip off her.
    my sister has no clue how it could of happenned.
    anybody have an idea?

    Bring her to your local vet. Lots of things could be going on.

    Could have been run over by a car / gotten into contact with some machinery or other.

    Quickly to the vet, just to be safe.
