Possibility of getting just a display panel with no speakers?

Ok I currently have a Hitachi 42" 1080i plasma, its good but i'm looking to sell it on and get a larger screen (46"-50") that supports full 1080p but space for a larger screen is an issue.

I use a 5.1 surround sound system so the speakers on the TV are wasted and that space could be used to display more screen real estate.

So i'm wondering is it possible to get plasma/LCD panels that don't have any speakers and have a thin bezel around the edges (much like an PC LCD monitor) or is it possible to get a panel that the speakers can be removed from the unit?

    All advice and recommendations appreciated.

Pioneer do this , its a really class piece of work but very pricey,

Note that speakers are optional , its one of the best of the best , and the price reflects that too.

Beat me to it, was going to mention it also but its REALLY pricey but REALLY nice.

Edit: Its €3850 with speakers and stand.

So maybe closer to €3000 without both.

been doing some reading around and the professional panasonic series seems to be highly reviewed. I do like Pio's but I don't think they are good value for money.

Here's the list of panasonic pro plasma panels (wow thats a tongue twister )

The 103" one looks just about within my budget

I am talking to a guy at "av toad" uk at the moment he can get me this amongst a few other items I am looking at buying from the uk
    Its a Panasonic TH42PH10BK.

the price is 700 GBP about 931 euro at current rates . I believe its similar to the 42pv70 minus tuner and speakers but i have sky and a sound system.
Alot of guys at avForums think the quality far exceeds that of the pv70

Most commerical Plasma/LCD panels do not have speakers mounted around the screen.

One of these might be the NEC MULTEOS M46 A 46" LCD 1080p panel. Comes in about €3499. But maybe the Poineer, for a little extra might be worth the additional?

One thing to remember with most commericals panels is that they usually do not come as standard with a tuner. (Not needed if you are connecting the screen to a SKY Box etc.)

If 1080p is not a necessity then you could make a big saving with the a Panasonic 50" Commerical Plasma, Might be an option and comes in at a great price.

TH-50PH10BK/S 50" Plasma, 1366x768, About €2699... roughly? Plenty of other options available, but need to do a little digging to find other pricing.

No digging required these guys will deliver to IRL (mind you I am looking at the 42" version, projector, Onkyo 605 and 108" screen)so maybe this is why they are willing to deliver.

Any help? I am buying this tv but i am trying to configue it for my set up.

I can add in HDMI boards but not with scart and HDMI together. So is it possible to connect in my Sony rdr hxd 750 to the Telly Via HDMI and connect my regulart Sky box via Scart to the Sony recorder. and also plug the ariel to the sony recorder.Therfore not requiring the Scart on the Plasma Display.

Model below I can get it for 700 pounds( I know there is no speakers orf tuner hence the Question)
