Have noticed a lot of people are uneasy with the art of photo Restoration so thought it would be a good idea to post an images for people to work on and share their technique with others.

Spent 30 minutes in CS3 with this
    restoration1.jpg

    - up scaled to 300dpi from 72dpi
    - Spot healing tool for dust etc and small cracks etc...
    - clone tool for missing parts and some dodge and burn to blend them in
    - Burn tool to enhance some of the detail that had been lost.
    - BW conversion and a bit of contrast.

    Think that was all.

Spent about 30mins with CS3 on it, but was watching TV so probably 15mins of work.
    • Spot healing
    • B&W conversation
    • Clone for missing,
    • Airbrush on overexposed marks to the vase on left
    • Upped contrast, and brightness to get the detail out
