Ok,... I 've posted in the gambling board before but nobody's interested in the sport over there... I thought this would be better suited here , and I'd like to hear anybody's opinions on the match-ups !

Anyway,bet365 have come out with the odds for the upcoming match-ups.
they are the first firm to give prices on various matches.

I think they have got this one wrong ....... check this :

    Antonio Margarito v Kermit Cintron
    .......(1/4).............v...........(11/4)

I would have thought Kermit Cintron would be favourite there , ... anyway its a good chance for the gamblers amongst us...... i know cowzerp is a occasional punter , and few others ?

    other interesting odds include :
Clinton Woods (5/6) vs. Anto Tarver (5/6)

PrettyBoy Mayweather (2/5) vs. Oscar Dela Hoya (15/8)

I will be very interested to see what price they come up with for Duddy vs. Pavlik !!

woods v tarver, i'd go woods but its hard to call..
    Only 1 winner, mayweather..

Pavlik will win easily im afraid, but irish odds might not be great for duddy as there will be heavy betting on duddy!!

The reason Margarito is favourite is due to how easily he dealt with Cintron the first time , Cintron froze and just didn't perform . Cintron can be very inconsistent and I think he struggles more the more media attention on him .
I think Margarito will win again , but the odds aren't worth betting on .

Woods will beat Tarver , Woods is like a fine wine......he's getting better with age where as Tarver is fading and fast . Tarver looked absolutely dreadful in his last two fights(3 if you count how easy B-Hop dealt with him) and for me he's pretty shot by now . Woods will force him to work at a pace aswell which Tarver won't like at all . Woods UD/late stoppage .

Mayweather will beat De La Hoya clearer than last time .

Pavlik will beat Duddy and as said you might be able to get okay odds here due to Duddy being Irish .

I think Tarver will beat Woods. I seem to be the only one who thinks so.

Have you seen Tarver recently ?

I think Cintron carried an injury for the very start of the fight if my memory is ok (which it usually isnt).
I think Margarito is very over-rated , and Cintron is under-rated.
I'm considering going 4 figures here, if i can get it down.

He was on sky-premier last week and put in a nice performance against Balboa.:)

just on another side-note..... boilsports are giving a whooping 125/1 for andy lee to lose by KO,Tko or disqualification!!
surely Alejandro Falliga has a punchers chance ?

im not sure if some people on this board actually watch boxing.

cintron got his a$$ handed to him last time. and people are "shocked" that he's not favourite to beat the guy who gave him a good comfortable hiding.

I think the 5/6 odds are great on Woods. I reckon he is a shoe-in.
Tarver is only joint favourite on his name, and as was said before woods will be too fit and busy for him.
I will consider lobbing a few hundred on that one myself.

Edit: just checked out paddypower.com. 1/2 Pavlik 13/8 Taylor. Wow. Think the higher weight will suit Taylor and he should improve on the last result. Might do a taylor-woods double. Works out near 5-1!!

Yup. I've seen Woods too. I still think Tarver would take him.

Fair enough , the only problem I can really see for Woods is the southpaw stance(he hasn't fought a Southpaw for years) but he hasn't shown any weakness to that in the past so he should be okay . I think it'll be a great fight due to Woods forcing Tarver to work and keeping the fight at a fast tempo .
If Tarver is to win he needs to keep things slow , stay on the outside and just pick his shots .

Falliga is a natural Light-Middleweight with seemingly average enough pop . He's probably not going to land on Lee that much so if he is going to ko him he'll be relying on Lee's chin to be made of glass .

Yeah ,... fair point akindoc, but thats was some time ago and i think he's better than that
nothing stays the same for very long , the first match was quite some time ago.

the last outing i saw was a great performance by cintron . margarito did'ne look all that against williams. .....
I dont know, my head says Cintron for some reason.......only time will tell !
