Is it a vanilla job ? I.E. have you upgraded the RAM yourself etc. ?

Have you checked the logs to see what's going on ? You can find them in Applications > Utilities > Console.

What is the USB device you're unplugging ? If you don't unplug it do you get the KP ?

hi zen, its a new machine.leopard was pre-installed. its a mbox2 audio usb device which is causing the hassle, also could be a external hard drive running off the firewire port, dont have machine in front of me right now so cant post details of the kp.
i do have one app installed that hasnt yet been qualified for leopard could this be the problem? and i'm not sure about the drivers for the mbox usb device.

I seem to be getting the same on a Mini 2.0GHz C2d running Leopard upgrade.
Seems to be USB related, nothing in crash reporter, but it is in hang reporter.
Its like it goes to sleep and it won't wake up. i did see "Button managers" mentioned, which i think were from a WD HD, so I removed them. Hasn't done it since. Cue it hanging tonight.......:D
