Trouble installing Final Scratchamp 2.

Anyone have bad experience trying to get a Laptop PC (OODJ MK2) to recognise Stanton Final Scratch vs 2 Amp? I loaded drivers several times and PC will not recognise the amp. (Firewire port) Amp works fine as I had it on a Mac before. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks. it boiled down to a small circut board in the OOdJ probably a dry solder joint. The firewire port was fine in the motherboard of the machine itself and the drivers were detected by XP so I ran a patch cable out so I could test the scratch amp. I couldn't close the machine with this cable like this so I have sent the machine back to their workshop at Valeway technology and will let you know of the outcome.
