Anyone having issues fileing an ebay dispute? I go through the process and in the section where it asked what method you used to pay for the item I select paypal. But on the next screen where it gives the summary of the dispute details I entered it shows th emethod of payment as Bank to bank wire transfer.I went back a couple of times and re selected paypa; but it keeps coming up bank to bank wire transfer.

I didnt want to proceed with the dispute because i assume it will show up as the wrong payment menthod and might caus eissue somewhere in the dispute process. I contacted ebay and got a stock response about the dispute proceedure. Any thoughts?

Since you paid with Paypal, can you file the dispute with them?

Stekelly, if you paid through PayPal then you need to file your dispute through PayPal.. log in to your PP account, then got to Resolution centre at the top right hand side of the page...

if you try file this through eBay it will only redirect you to PP anyway

at ArmedResponse: that seems like a malicious bidder.. someone you had a bad transaction with set up a new account just to ruin your auction.... go to the Contact us form in the Help pages and report that.. you'll be able to get back your fees! :)

The problem is that its over 45 days so the paypal route is out, Ebay dispute allows up to 60 days so its really my only course at this stage.

Which is probably why it will not let you select paypal then
