I was offered a job in BearingPoint as an analyst in their business consulting dept, I'm going to accept it but would also be interested to hear from anybody who works there or has worked there before. Not an IT role but would be interested to hear any responses to cronos' question anyway.

I know someone whos been working there for the last 2 years and loves it! They treat their staff very well, good training and have a fantastic package for IT grads, I think its €30k+bonus+benifits, that must be at the top of the IT grads pay scale!? I know that the company is growing rapidly here in Ireland and hiring a lot of people this year. Have you had the interview yet? Did it go well?

Depends what group you are interviewing with. I was business consulting, first interview day was 2x interviews with two managers in each. First interview was easy, second was quite tough. Second interview day started with reviewing a business case and then making a 10 minute presentation followed by 10 mins of questions by two managers and then another 45 min interview which wasnt too hard. Got an offer which I accepted so starting in september. Just be prepared to talk about why you want to work in consulting and know the job inside out and you'll be fine.

Also I would like to know if someone has done this with Java. Have one this week - don't know what to expect as I haven't done one before.
