Kind of an important thing you would think... today when I click on my account on i-poker I get a message asking me if I want to continue as security cert has expired..

I know nothing about these things but an important kind of thing I would think...

I pinged support and they are looking into it... she said maybe someone forgot to renew it and she would mail i-poker about it...

    Same here.

Plus, I've had to log in every three visits or so, for the last few days, and the cashier is buggy, as well.

I'm not running anything different, or anything that might interfere. Something's up at their end...

Sounds like a web server SSL cert. Which site was this on? I've just logged into GJP and checked around my account etc and I'm not getting that message.

Much of this stuff is done through the web protocol HTTP from the specific site's webserver and it could be isolated to a specific site, or it could be an i-poker cert but I dont think they host centralised web stuff.

Ah, its probably a Tain issue then.... any clients that use Tain as their skin provider will get that. (eg: Green Joker and Paddys wont be affected).

Its a https (secure sockets layer) cert that has gone out of date. Its not really a security concern in this case but its a bit bad that its been allowed to elapse.

NoIQ, Cardoza, Chili, Carlos, Expect and a few others all are skins on the Tain cage so it must be a Tain issue to confirm Tom's posts.

A v large proportion of poker operators wont have been in existence long enough to realise that security certificates even expire Dev :)

I don't think I've ever not got that message when logging onto Carlos' web site.

I don't think I've ever not got that message when logging onto Carlos' web site.

You get the message when you click on my account not on login

EDITED... SEEMS TO BE FIXED AND WASN'T A BIG ISSUE....

but still the word security problem and poker sites dont go well together

there is a security flaw in ipoker (all skins) where it makes use of Internet Explorer to display some of the content. The screenshot above is a message from IE, not from the poker client.

Can you enlighten me on this "security flaw"?
