Hello, I'm new to this and would love your feed back. Have you ever picked up on negative energy, or were faced with having to deal with a negative spirit or entity? If you have how did you deal with it, and if not what would you suggest. Ways of protecting yourself and / or others etc.

Be confident and tell it to fcuk off ... seriously. As long as your confidence doesn't waiver you'll be grand.

Other than that your own personal beliefs will influence your approach.

Seconding what 6th says. How you perceive and deal with a negative influence has a lot to do with your state of mind. If you feel its not going to do anything to you, then it most likely wont. Strength in this case comes from confidence.

You know whats weird. When I was posting this the other day, and asking for the advice, some thing happened in my house which rocked me. I was cornered in the room with my dog going balistic defending me, and was wishing I had put up this thread earlier. Of course deep down I know and have been told that if you're positive and remain strong you can not be touched. But man its difficult when you get a fright. I ended up ringing some one, talking talking talking, television volume up, it took 20 mins to settle the dog, and before i would leave the room again. Thankfully i have one or two friends who've had experiences, and take me seriously. Any way thanks for the advice. By the way i didnt sense any thing negative at that moment in time, it was the dog that scared the **** out of me, but other things previously had happened in the house when i felt it, and dog seemed to notice too, so that was on my mind.

Of course its difficult when youre frightened. Ive woken up at night sometimes and been scared sh1tless. You need to turn on the lights and gather your thoughts and calm down, and no matter how sane and rational you can be in daylight, it can take time when your nerves are frazzled. Or when your dogs gone ballistic.

As long as you know deep down that you cannot be hurt, youll usually get over a fright quickly, and thats what matters. And the more you deal with stuff like this, the easier it gets to not be shaken up by it.
