Hi,i started a new job basically about 2 weeks ago.Its in IT and the company i work for are fairly lad back, however I dont think there is much oppurtunity to learn anything new in the job.Today ive been offered a job in a company doing exactly what i want to do.The money is a small bit better but it is only a 6 month temp contract.Should i bite the bullet and take the new job even tho it is only for 6 months, just for the experience at least..
    Any ideas?

If it was me, then yes definitely. I think it's always better to like what you're doing. However it depends on your financial situation, can you afford to take the risk of being possibly unemployed in six months. It's your decision, I would jump ship.

I wouldn't jump ship for a 6 month temp job TBH. Just keep looking for the job (permanent) you want.

On the other hand why sit back and wait to be taught stuff. Take a few improvment projects on yourself and show management that you are capable.

Do f**k all and get paid for it, or start working in the career path you wish to end up in?

Take the 6 month, and also check is the 6 month probation (happens in a few companies), or is there any chance of staying on afterwards?
