    ya im doing it and knowing few others doing te same you pretty much just need a letter for the embassay sayin that you are coming back to do a postgrad of from company sayin you have a job offer

    I'm doing this aswell. I have a contract signed with a company to start when in the Autumn. Do I need to get a letter from them for the US embassy or is it for go4less or is showing them my contract enough?

    Thanks a million. I was thinking of going to San Francisco on my own but I wouldn't be 21 and it would probably be a good idea to get some lab experience. Ta again!:)

    it a letter from them or probably copy of your signed contract you need for your embassay interview

    Well, I know someone who runs a business. It doesn't have to be degree related does it? I might just leave it and try for a H1B visa in a few years... Does anyone know if they're difficult to get?

    Im in final year aswell,doing the J1 this year. Is it vital that you organize a job beforehand, because im not sure what i want to do with my life when I get back just yet

    I did a J1 in my final year. I just got a lecturer who I got on well with to do up a letter saying that I was coming back to do a PhD with his group. The woman in the embassy didn't even read it, she just glanced at it briefly and handed it back to me.
    Oh and I didn't have a job going over but I'm pretty sure if you do have one arranged it doesn't have to be related to your college course.

    Well dude, thanks a million. That seems to happen a lot. My uncle owns his own business so I don't think that getting a letter would be the problem. Thanks again!
