Does anyone know any of any good reptile pet shops in Dublin (preferably town or north county Dublin) or Wicklow?

Also does anyone know of vets who can care for reptiles in the same areas?

    Thanks in advance...

    Fionna

Reptile Haven in Fishamble St, in Dublin City Centre. Ben will look after you if you go in there! He's one of the best.

Also there's a vet somewhere near Ballsbridge that specialises in reptiles, my dad knows the name of him... I'll get it for you...

What are you looking for may I ask?

Adrieanne I'm just looking for a good pet shop to buy some bits and pieces for my turtles tank as the shop I bought the turtles from have no clue what they are talking about! Thanks for the suggestions :-)

Oh great Shelli thanks a million, I'm in Bray myself so that's brilliant :D

John Bainbridge is in Dundrum, not Bray. It's Bairbre O'Malley who's in Bray

And Lucozader, who in their right mind would buy a pet from a market?

Best to buy reptiles from a specialist reptile shop like Reptile Haven in Fishamble Street

I want to get something they can maybe swim around, I need water conditioner and some more bits and pieces to make their tank more enjoyable for them. At the moment I just have the filter, the heater and their dock in the tank so it's looking fairly bare :(

    Would you recommend anything?

I am actually doing work experience with Bairbre O'Malley in Bray at the moment and from what I have seen so far she is brill!!!! in fact she sees more reptiles and exotics in a day than cats and dogs. :D

I hear Bainbridge is quite good too, though I have also heard that he can sometimes be hard to consult with as he splits his time between different clinics.:) Though he was extremly nice when I went there to apply for w.e.

ha! good old whackers, if you want they'll even sell you a hamster for your turtle to keep him company! They'll find your hamster some scuba gear too if you want! anywhere that will knowingly sell turtles or any reptiles for that matter without the proper gear shouldnt even get the return business of accessories such as water conditioners or spare bulbs etc
i have heard great things also about Castle veterinary in clondalkin as Mannus Cannon used to be vet in dublin zoo with reptiles.
