    Hey there
Just quick question if anyone out there would have some advice.
We recently looked at new houses for sale in Moylough and found them to be lovely and great value.
At the moment am renting in Galway and im wondering would i get an awful shock being that far away from the city!
Its not that i mind not being within walking distance to city but am more wondering does it mean the end of a social life?? If you were to go out in galway how the hell does anyone get back to Moylough?
Is it possible to get taxis or would they do a run out that far?
What about getting into Galway for work in the mornings what sort of a commute would you be looking at ?
Would appreciate any advice from anyone living there or who recently moved to see what their experience is
    Thanks

Hey. I grew up in moylough and i have to say its a great place to live. First off no scumbags, boy racers and very few drugs if any. Its 26 miles from galway city which takes around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic in claregalway. Taxi costs about 60 euro to moylough from eyre square which isnt cheap. The pub life is pretty good in moylough and a few people who have moved into moylough recently have already become fairly good friends of mine.

    Anything else just ask

you'll still have to go through Claregalway to get to Galway. which is a nightmare at the best of times.i live 10 miles out in the Lackagh Turloughmore area, Moylough i reckon is another 13 / 14 miles further out, a taxi costs me anything between 18 and 25 euros, depending on the driver.to get to Moylough will be at least twice that i reckon.
