Buying while *in* Hong Kong

A friend of mine is making a trip to Hong Kong in a short while... Was wondering if anyone can recommend any shops over there to buy from?

I heard mention somewhere of one called Wing Shing Photos in Kowloon who are supposed to be good. Anyone dealt with them or any others?
Would ideally like to be able to email the shop and get some prices before he goes.

Not too sure if it'll work out cheaper anyway just to go with Kea on E-Bay...

Im planning on going to China myself this summer, including a stop in HK for a new lense and found this website which gives the prices of camera equipment in HK. Its pretty comprehensive so it should give you an idea of the prices to expect/pay. Aslo, you'll see that Mongkok Wing Shxng appears an awful lot, so that may be a good palce to start!

Oh and I think an quick way to calculate the price is to knock a zero off the prices listed and it gives you a rough euro equivalent!

Thanks for that! Great price there on the EOS 5D - works out at €1,400 :)

I bought my 5D from Mong Kok last year...prices are fairly consistent across the main shops (+/- 50 euro max) - the only advice I would say is avoid the shops by the ferry terminal on Prince Edward street :. have heard reports of what is in the box not matching what was on the bill .

Also - there isn't much leeway for haggling on price but they might throw in a little something. I got an 8Gb CF card.

Ok, thanks. Which shop did you buy the 5D in?
