    hey all,

i'm looking into getting from Beijing to Lima for the least amount of money possible this summer. I will be finishing a holiday in Beijing on the 5th August and am looking to get to Lima, Peru by about the 11th.

Has anyone ever done this route? Does anybody know where the cheapest place to fly from will be? Or is there a website that anyone can recommend that I will be able to get some cheap flights?

Just so you all know I can't swim so thats out:D

    thanks ia lot

    Bnev

That's quite a distance and unusual path. And it's also an expensive trip giving the timeframe to work with.

One option is to fly from Beijing to Toronto. And then from Toronto to Lima. But that will cost you almost 2 grand. It's about 1400 dollars for the Canada flight and around 800 dollars for the Peru one. And plus it's a hell of a lot of flying.

Or you could do Beijing - LA with Air china for 590 euros. and then fly LA to Lima taking advantage of the weak dollar. it's 600 dollars (410 euros).

Or another option is flying from Beijing to Sao Paolo Via Madrid and then getting buses to peru or an internal flight. I just checked on Air China and that cost 755 pounds. (around 1000 euros). But that was for June as you can't check August yet with them. So it could be more expensive then.

Either way it's gonna cost you a fair bit of traveling given the size of the pacific and having to travel across it. oceans always jack up the price.
