Heading off to do some stalking in the morning and want to be there and set up before first light. Just looking at this site which gives 3 times for twilight:

    Astronomical(6.13am), Nautical(6.54am) and Civil(7.37am).

I know this seems a bit scientific but I just want to plan journey and times.
Perhaps the simple question is; when is it still dark these days?

Probably get a better answer in weather,

Astronomical is the darkest, when the sun is between 18 and 12 degree below the horizon.

Basically, it start getting bright at astronomical (6.13), at the other two the sun is less than 12 and 6 deg below respectivily and then at sunrise is when the sun emmerges. At about 8.15

So its still dark at 6.13, and at 8.15 the sun comes out.

Well 'Nautical Twilight' is the one to go by, this is when you can see the sky just starting to brighten, this was just before 7 this morning. Saw 2 hinds, no shots though. Next week!
