Recently I've developed a problem with this phone, I ring someone or answer the phone and I can't hear anything from the other side. I dropped it on the floor from a three foot table a few days ago so that's probably why? I bought it from 3. Is it easily fixable and will it cost much to fix?

well, it sounds like consumer damage, so u will have to get it repaired yourself, not sure what phone repair shops are available in galway though.

Your Earphone speaker has been damaged and has probably failed from the drop. Do a quick test to make sure.. Go to the idle screen, Press the Right arrow key, then *, then press the left key twice, then *, then left again then *. It will bring you into the service menu. Scroll down to the Earphone option, if you hear nothing, its gone. If it was purchased within a year you could try bringing it back to where you got it and they'll send it back to SE. As long as you tell them it hasn't been dropped it should be fixed free of charge.. I hope the phone hasn't ever been in contact with water because that is the usual cause of malfunction and this is definitely not covered and they can tell instantly.. Good Luck! ;)

Ah no false alarm, I think it was a battery problem, the battery died an hour ago and had to recharge it, and the earphone works now. Thanks for the help BlackITR, don't think I could have afforded a phone repair lol.
