    looking for advice on buying a camcorder.

    i'm going to be filming watersports (kitesurfing) i'll be land based mostly. need something tough as chances are sand will get in ever where adn the odd bit of water.

    perhaps you may suggest a good cheap waterproof housing. which will elimante the need for such a robust one.

    i'll be editing in on a PC. not sure if i want a Hd, DVD or minidv type recorder.

    really need a good optical zoom, image stabiliser, good in bad lighting conditions. don't want o break the bank around the 500 euro max zone.

    Finally do i need a HDD or what type resolution do i need.

    what sites do you all get your hardware on
