:I'm sorry to ask but it is relevent; is it a Mayo County Team? because my answer on Moral willl be short;)

Otherwise the reality is any club can do well. Is your team Senior or are they trying for promotion. Are they already in the top division?

My own club are Intermediate and have a realistic goal of going Senior. We know we have the players and the facilities all we need is the turnout of the players to training and commitment from them. If you get commitment you can only be beaten by a better team. We have got in people in the past like John O'Mahony to give motivational talks and it has paid off.

Team Building is important and I don't mean off to the pub together but maybe a weekend away together can build a team.

When you get a team ALL together you can look at building your strenghts like physical strenght, speed skill and at the same time getting rid of bad habits like the player who likes to solo alot, etc.

Work up an actual match plan. Regular challanges is a key part. Play a challange. Review it. correct and Improve on it.

Good Luck but the Mayo part of your username lets you down unless you are talking about a Ladies Team :D

Hey MayoLeeds, PM me if you wish.

My brother recently took over chairmanship the Nottingham GAA Club (St Barnabus) and the club was in similar shape about 6 months ago.

The club is doing well now, some significant new recruits from the universities there, and GAA is a 'minority sport' in the UK, so if you know the right numbers to ring, you can get some real help with your club.

Training numbers are up, morale is boosted, and results are beginning to turn for the better as well.
GAA is very 'hip' now with the University youngsters, so you'll be pushing an open door, if you make the right contacts.

PM me and I'll give you his number, he'll pass on any advice he can I'm sure.
