    Hi All,

I am looking to setup a small, portable lighting setup that I can take to people's houses etc. I currently have a 430EX and I wasa thinking maybe another one of these and an ST-E2 transmitter, a couple of stands with umbrellas.
Would these have enough power to light family portraits and that sort of thing?

I got the Elinchrom Dlite 4 and it is so compact and goes together in about 5 minutes.

I'd second the dlite kit if you'll get something of that size. Goes without saying that it's significantly bigger than a couple of 430's but they are great lights. I just used one of the lights in my kit to light the shot I took in the salt & pepper challenge thread :D

Absolutely! And ultra portable too with the wireless slave capabiiity meaning you don't have cables trailing around somebodies front room. They are more expensive than the Elincroms mentioned, but then you don't need a flash meter to start with. I've been using a set up like this for years (initially using a couple of Metz 45's with Slave adapters).
