I was wondering if you guys had any advice on starting a home gym?
I was thinking of starting off with an olympic bar and various weights/dumbells and a pair of rings.
Also I would like to buy one of those frames where you can do pullups and Dips.
I have seen where to get the bar and weights but the frame for pulls ups still evades me.
does anyhone know where I could get a sturdy one of these things for a decent price ?
    Thanks for your help.

The Garage Gym - might be useful for ideas, all the product info is for the states though.

This Power Rack looks solid, and has a pull up bar at the front. You'll need some sort of rack/stands for squatting. I picked up these squat stands in Argos and have handled heavy enough loads thusfar.

Dip station from Irish Lifting at €139.99
    Low Chin/Dip Station at €149.99
    Power Tower at €199.99

As long as you have a sturdy frame you can just loop the rings over it, and then use them for dips and chins- the rings will work you better than the static bar. Although I still do use my bar for chins & pullups.

I now have 40mm diameter PVC tubes, 6inch long. These have mountain bicycle inner tube over them for grip. These slip onto my chinning bar and I do chins/pullups on them. It really hits your forearms well, and can be pushed aside when you want a normal bar.

The linked site is probably the cheapest you will get for the quality, might even do a deal if you buy enough stuff.
