Ok Im not going to be much help but Im looking for the name of a song. Its a woman singing the same line repeatly (Cant remember the line) over a fast enough jazz beat, sounds like Nina Simone but thats all I can say.

    Hard question I know. Sorry.

Is it actually Nina Simone? I think the song could possibly be on the Best of Nina Simone album (the one that was released in 2006) if it is. Can't think of the name but there's an up-tempo, repetitive vocal/piano line at the end of the tune. Go on to amazon and listen to the samples maybe. Other than that, I dunno.

I think this might be Rose Rouge, first track on Tourist, an album released on Blue Note in 2000 by Saint Germain.
The vocal sample is of Marlene Shaw singing the line "I want you to get together".

    Hope I'm right.:D

It was the reference to Nina Simone that gave me the hint I needed. I mistook the vocal sample for Nina myself when first I heard it.
I've been meaning to buy something by Marlene Shaw ever since Blue Boy released Remember Me back in '97...jeez, that's eleven years ago now.
