    Hi
I have a large corner window in my new build and i am concerned about the cold bridging effects of the supporting steel work . There is a large section of channel on edge that carries the roof plate, this sits on a vertical post which also carries two tie box sections to the gable wall, one horizontal and the other follows the roof rafters up to the ridge. This room will have a vaulted ceiling .
I have been able to insulate the steel where it returns to the masonary from the internal leaf as much as possilbe, but the other exposed steel will i'm lead to believe be just boxed in .
Any sugestions on how to get some form of insulation into these areas would be appreciated.

Keystone lintels in Cookstown were working on some thermal bridge measurements for all their lintels - give them a call.
