    hi there,

Im with Chorus Digital and while in fairness I've never had a problem with them, I find there are more and more channels that I dont have,

Its costing me 39.99 per month that includes two extra additional boxes for a kitchen and a bedroom, if I were to move to sky I can only get one extra box at 15.00 per month, so in effect Im paying more and losing an extra box,

Should I just stay where I am or can anyone advise me what to do, also how do I get out of my contract with Chorus etc if I do move, do they do all that?

    thanks

Never had chorus but had ntl and no comparison between sky and ntl.

    Sky all the way.

How long are you with Chorus.

If its 12 months usually contract so over that you are ok.

You get both BBC and SKY interactive on SKY and not on NTL.

Chorus and NTL are the same company i guess you don't get interactive chorus.

Hi, yeah no dont get interactive anything!! With chorus over a year, do I have to pay 15.00 for each additional box? would you recommend sky+?

HI, yes Im over a year with them, but it does cost more with sky, as its 15.00 per extra box, would you recommend sky+?

thanks and apologies Im a bit green with all this kinda stuff!

There is absolutely no comparison. Sky is miles better than Chorus. Dont comapre euro for euro as it is like comparing apples and oranges. The quality of picture on NTL/Chorus is rubbish. The channel selection is also dreadful on NTL. The only redeeming feature on NTL/Chorus is that Setanta Ireland sports channel is free.

Get Sky+, if you are into your television it will change your life.

No, if you are with them more than a year you can leave without payment. They will just take the boxes back but they are no use to you with Sky anyway.

See ICDG in my sig. After a year of Sky you can cancel, the Sky gear, unlike cable/MMDS is yours from day 1 and will legally receive loads of decent free channels. See ICDG in my sig.

If you cancel, Sky can reconnect for the pay channels in about 10mins. and you only have to give 1month to cancel again after the initial 1 year.

Also the main channels, including decent Free BBC/ITV are higher quality than NTL/Chorus.

Signup at Sky.com and youll get Sky+ and Second Digibox for Eur149.00 including installation. Sky+ will change the way you watch tv forever!!

For your 3rd tv you could get Free to Air satellite receiver for the Free tv incl BBC AND UTV and many others. There are new boxes coming soon, Spring/Summer which will be compatable with freesat from BBC/ITV. If you cant wait for that just buy a second hand sky digibox from ebay for circa Eur30-Eur50
