Need buying advice - speaker wall plates

Hi, I'm getting some rewiring done in the house and am thinking about getting the guy to wire in some speaker wall plates while he's at it and am looking for advice as to where to get the gear. I reckon I need 5 plates for speakers plus one for the sub and then a master wall plate by the amp with potential for 7.1…

Hi,

I'm getting some rewiring done in the house and am thinking about getting the guy to wire in some speaker wall plates while he's at it and am looking for advice as to where to get the gear.

I reckon I need 5 plates for speakers plus one for the sub and then a master wall plate by the amp with potential for 7.1 connections. I checked with Peats but they only had two basic wall plates and they were 15EUR each. Am I better off importing from UK/USA? Also, what grade speaker cable would you recommend?

Lots of questions I know but would really appreciate any answers / advice.
