Gaming in Trinity...

Can it be done? In Trinity Halls for example, I heard that Eve Online works, but what about other games?

Is buying a cheap Irish Broadband Modem and sticking it the window the only way to game? :/

    Thanks

My recommendation would be to give up the gaming and focus on your academic studies.

I've heard eve online works but it looks a bit WOW-esque, IE ridiculously geeky.

Other than that, you can game on the network within halls/trinity (over the network), but not outside.
You probably won't get any signal with Irish Broadband within halls - I'm gonna guess whatever ****s up phone signal does the same to IBB, as I recall coverage wasn't great in that area with them anyway.

You can tunnel through netsoc, but that's not really allowed, and I've heard connection rates drop to unusable rates.

So no, I'm afraid you're screwed...

    Pot, meet kettle.
Kettle, meet the hopeless emo-mac fag who's sole purpose in life is to be generally unhelpful. :)

Bad grammar aside, that was a burn!

Not really since I'm none of those things except what you call a "mac fag"...
