Multi-variable Taylor Series, the order notation and stationary points.

I have access to the UCD library so if I need to look at a couple of books that's fine.

Just want a general understanding, thanks!

How far into it are you going?
Thomas' calculus has a couple of pages on taylor series for two variables, and you can generalise quite easily from that. For anything more complicated, it might be best to go in to UCD library and browse the books yourself, and pick whatever is suited to you the most.
Titles containing words like "analytic geometry" "multivariate" or "several variables" are your best bet.
