    Ok
This episode started off like it was going to be a simple filler with some lowly off-worlders. I was enjoying the episode even before the genii showed up. The interplay between harmony and our two intrepid heroes was great. :D She was doing so much sucking up to Sheppard and making some classic faces at Rodney.

The plot by the older sister to renew trade with the genii was straightforward enough but if something has happened in the genii leadership, there could be problems in the future for atlantis. It may just be an independent group though.

The monster which turned out to be mini drones was fairly cool, always nice to see some ancient tech/experiments from the past.

I found the episode fairly entertaining especially the portrait at the end, 13 year olds can be so fickle :D 7/10.

    Ok
Solid instalment - humorous and some good interaction between McKay, Sheppard, and a pretty decent young actress. Nothing memorable at the same time and not as good as the last few weeks but not a waste of my time either.

Does this episode break some sort of record for the least amount of the regular cast shown?

Probably the most annoying child I have ever seen, the worst named and damned fickle :D , Shepherd and McKay were fine but IMO the script was more of a leftover from that whole mediaeval village season of SG-1 . Not too convinced by the addition of the Genii. AN Other and his bounty gang could have done the job as well. The Genii have always been crap in the forest anyway and they have really dreadful lines "Unlimited men...." . :p
It had one or two moments, especially the last ten minutes even though there were hints of "The Sentinel" about it. Overall disappointed with this in comparison with the last three or four.

Wasnt that child the younger version of the Ori woman in SG1? Actually laughed aloud when I saw the painting.

    Nice filler Ep!

The kid was so unbelievably irritating that I had to turn it off after 15 minutes. Couldn't handle it any longer.

Meh, it was ok. Irritating child, and the first 20 minutes were just bland, last 5-10 minutes were pretty decent though, and the painting was rather amusing.

The episode for me added nothing to the overall scheme of things...above all the weaponry out there it had to be drones, hardly novel from an atlantis point of view...the episode's humour saved it's blushes...

    Ok
indeed I cant think of an episode between the 2 series that showed 2 or less regular cast members. Kinda weird that.

If anyone thinks that child was annoying they are forgetting last season where they featured that blundering idiot and his love potion... multiple times. Bleh.

T'was a good episode for banter t'weenst rodney and sheppard. Much enjoyed. Some of the scenery caused me to daydream of golden days past: wasnt that moor they started off walking in roughly the same area they filmed that ep, where jack and yer man got trapped on that moon and went psycho on eachother? Ah the memories...

See I didn't mind the girl because she's meant to be annoying. Lucias (was that his name?) didn't work so well because we had to watch people fawn over him. Here they rightly saw she was a precocious little brat and treated her as such.

    Ok
Lucias Lavin - he was supposed to get on your tits, that's why he had to use the potion, he'd have been fooked otherwise :D
I liked Richard Kind from his spin city days, and I found the episodes with him entertaining enough. It was Kolya I didn't like, that guy didn't know when to die. Happily he did eventually in one of Lucias's episodes.

I'll have to look again for the moor bit.

Was happily surprised with that episode, expected it to be unmitigated crap when I saw Harmony but it was surprisingly funny. Chocalate bar-framing and the painting being obvious highlights

    Ok
Filler goes down a whole lot easier with a bit of comedy and guns.

Surprisingly enjoyable episode, and i enjoyed the whole ancient tech /genes explaining the whole beast mythology.

Its sad to think they have yet to stumble across one readily available ZPM on any planet they have gone to... *sigh*

I quite enjoyed this episode. Granted, it didnt forward the story at all, but not every episode has to have major plot development. Great scenes between Sheppard and McKay, and the painting at the end was classic.

Koyla was actually one of the best returning bad guys imo. His and Sheppards scenes were always great, and season 3x07 (the first one with our friendly resident wraith and Sheppard in a cell together) was one of my favourite episodes. Plus, he's apparently set to return...somehow

the series has never done good baddies IMO. Hence the reason Koyla is regarded as the best. The reps were ****. The only good wraith character is a neutral. The 'bad' wraith character is a gay star trek has been. And lets just forget about Rainbow Sun Francs...

Honestly Im longing for a unifying bad guy - wheres the Apophis? The Anubis? The whatsherface.... Nierte! Those were bad people you could get behind (or in front of, or against.. blah!)

Seriously.. Koyla!? Just another piece of background noise.

Koyla was alright but the Queens never live long enough to be "baddies" Apophis was the best enemy going in SG. I think they need another maybourne for SGA to spice it up a bit

Anubis was cooler than Apophis :) But yea, SGA does suffer a bit from the "villian of the week" syndrome. And why is Carter even on Atlantis? Half the time she's not there and Sheppard is running the show. She was good in SGA, but unlike Star Trek (where cross-series characters like Worf and O'Brien worked very well), SG characters don't seem to make the transition well at all (with the possible exception of Wolsey - ironically played by a key Voyager actor)

I really liked this episode, like a sister episode of The Brotherhood from seaosn 1.

But the mini drones thing really annoyed me.

I really liked Sheppard anticipating the ambush bit.
