    Porterhouse is probably best bet

Not to make a new topic. Question about the Porter House.
I heard they only do their own beer? I was in there once and had something called "Aventinus" or something familiar sounding. Surely they must have Heineken or something similar?

They have Heineken, but it's the Dutch import, in bottles only. Way better than the Cork-made stuff but there's so much better available in the Porterhouse. Aventinus, conversely, is one of the world's great beers, IMHO.

They don't only do their own beers: there's a big bottle selection, mostly imports. On draught they do their own beers, plus a few other guests and imports, like Galway Hooker and Erdinger.

What they don't do on draught are the common Irish industrially manufactured beers: Guinness, Smithwick's, Bud, Carlsberg, Coors Light, Heineken, Amstel, Miller etc etc.

Ah, i remember Kokanee. Drank a good bit of it when i was in calgary a couple of summers ago. Good stuff, think they sponsored a rugby match I played in too, might still have the t-shirt somewhere!

Alas I am of no help, as I have never seen it over here. I'd buy some if i did though!

I was under the impression its a west coast thing. I doubt you'd even get it in Toronto for example. Can confirm it flows pretty freely in Vancouver though!
