It's been a while since I've posted anything for C&C, but now that I'm finally getting the hang of the processing lark (at least hope so or I'm going back to shooting jpegs!)

Here's one from my trip to Canada in May last year (and yes everything between then and now I still need to process :-( except for the Borderfox's horses):

Would have loved a more dramatic sky or lower viewpoint, but give it a shot in B&W - Good look with all the processing ;)

either my eyesight or my monitor is on the fritz (or both!) It's meant to be a clear blue sky and bright green and red....... and yet now I see it posted all the colors are dull :( So yep challengemasters comment is correct :(

Gaahhh!!! I give up *stumbles into corner with bottle of vino*

Did you switch the colour space to sRGB for posting on the web? You prob have your setting on camera to shooti n AdobeRGB (bigger gammut of colours that don't come through on the net so aRGB files look dull when viewed on the net.

hmmm, the output for phase one is set to use the adobe rgb allright, so for web it should be srgb?

Fajitas, I've uploaded the original raw file here if you fancy a go. Think I might have been over-compensating for the blown highlights on the lighthouse

Yup, got to change to sRGB for the web. You can do this in PS by going to......*looks in photoshop*.....EDIT > COLOUR SETTINGS > then choose your colour space. I think if you choose the option to "save for web" it does this for you? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

That'd explain some of the trouble I've been having alright. Still thinking of packing in the processing stuff for a while... again!.... 'its for the birds*'

Switching to sRGB and being to sparse with the contrast / saturation sliders etc is all that apparently was wrong with me :D See below for a tighter crop and a straightened lighthouse (pops for full size).
