I have been working in a company for the last 2.5 years and being honest I have had a bad experience working there from the very beginning, I had to stay due to commitments on a mortgage etc etc.

The normal advice in this situation is to keep a log book of everything that happens.

Would it be possible for you just to get a job somewhere else? Maybe that would be an easier solution...

As dublindude says keeping a log book is the usual suggestion. My reading of this would be that the managers/supervisors you deal with are unhappy about the long absence, probably because they think it affects them personally, and have resorted to the kind of bullying tactics that go on in some environments. I reckon that you're unlikely to be fired as long as you do your job.

My suggestion would be not to hand in your notice now but to keep your head down and start looking for a better job and move when one comes up.

Good point, they really have nothing on me. I'm just panicing, but I sent an email to my super and the HR manager something along these lines.

A warning in a meeting as you describe it, doesn't sound kosher. You are entitled to some better procedure - consult your handbook. Log everything.
