I want to again blow SDCC's trumpet. They must be one of the only local authorities with vision beyond petty squabling and 'getting yer man his planning permission, wink wink' etc...

I hope and pray for the success of Clonburris in West Dublin. Vast tracts of land (which are pretty unremarkable by any stretch of the imagination) runing parallel to the canal and railway. If SDCC push ahead like Adamstown and central government lets us down by failing to provide the Interconnector they should be shot for treason (Mary!).

    At long last some sense.

If one looks at a map of Dublin, you can see the vast tracts of land running from the foothills of the Wicklow mountains right around to Baldoyle. How did we end up exporting thousands of people to the outer reaches of Leinster due to a housing shortage in Dublin.

Clonburris is yet another reason why the interconnector is perhaps the most important public transport project in the history of the state.
