Does anyone know/make a nice salmon and pasta dish for consumption after a workout? All I can find are dishes with very creamy/fatty sauces which obviously won't do at all...a healthy sauce would be great

Anyone sitting on a mean recipe they'd like to share?

Mix some pesto into the pasta, lob in the salmon and grate a bit of cheese on it. Add cashews, spinach and cherry tomatoes. Yum.

I make this with tinned tuna for lunches. Its usually makes a large bowl and does 2 or 3 servigns. A salmon steak grilled and broken up or tinned salmon will also do.

Penne Pasta ( or elbows or anything..)
Corn cut off the cob or tinned
An onion sliced into small cubes
    Pepper sliced up also
Salt, Pepper, Parsley and possibly a half of lemon juice
    Whole tin of fish
As much low fat Mayo as you dare and as little as required to give some over all coating and flavour to the mix. A large tea spoon can often do for the 2/3 servings.

Bung all in a bowl and stir up and serve cold, or fresh after making serve just warm.

Mix and match herbs for flavouring with anything else you want, add different fresh crucnchy veg.

For extra Protein and a satifying crunch add peanuts or Cashews to mix....
By coincidence I am eating a large bowl now !

Since nobody pointed out the obvious one I'll do it. Put some lemon juice on top to add flavour. That can be all you need depending on your taste buds

Thanks guys, I'm absolutely nuts about salmon and I've seen dishes on restaurant menus that all mention cream and stuff so I shy away.

That sounds like a good one diamond maker you could just attack a luch box full of that stuff as you arrive back in from the gym.

Getting gourmet nutrition too so will check it out ali.c, thanks.

Thanks the rest of ye as well!
