That seems to suggest that the main fault for the Roaring Twenties was indeed the writers and not RTE for pushing them into making it too soon. I mean I imagine they had as long as they wanted to make that and it was horrible.

I have a headache after watching it. Why did they all have American accents?!

Uggh, I actually managed to sit through 5 minutes of this crap.

Mr Stubbs, I actually gave you the benefit of the doubt about the roaring 20s, and I even listened to your excuses why it was terrible. I think it's time you faced facts, you can't write. That's not an insult, I couldn't write a show but I'm not under a false illusion that I can. Forget about it, go back to your call centre and move on with your life, not just so you can keep the minute shred of dignity that you might still have, but so we won't have to endure tedious crap like this ever again.

the people behind this should face facts. This is now the second time theyve proved they CANT write comedy.

What was the point to any of this? Why would you make something that's already not funny (with the exception of an occasional Kramer moment) into something...something...there aren't words to describe how unfunny all that was (well the 3 minutes I kept my cursor away from the Close Tab). What is this obsession with aping US comedy? We're not f*cking Americans, get that into your skulls...or emigrate. Try being somewhat Irish, if you intend to try and appeal to that audience...
